On Wednesday, June 10, the Chamber submitted testimony to the full Senate Committee on the Judiciary at a hearing titled, “Examining the Federal Regulatory System to Improve Accountability, Transparency and Integrity.”
At the 10 AM hearing, Bill Kovacs highlighted issues with the federal regulatory process, including how agencies have increased their authority, a need to update the Administrative Procedure Act, and a lack of agency compliance with key legislation like the Regulatory Flexibility Act, the Unfunded Mandates Reform Act, and others.
