The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and U.S.-ASEAN Business Council welcomed Thailand Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on March 30 to discuss the future of international trade between countries and the prospect of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal. The Chamber has championed free and fair trade, and Prime Minister Prayut is an essential ally in the Asia-Pacific in promoting and facilitating trade. Thailand is the destination of American trade and invetsment, and the U.S. Chamber and the USABC hope to strengthen that relationship in the future.
