Victoria Yan Pillitteri is an advisor for systems security in the Computer Security Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). She focuses on information security and risk management and serves as a senior researcher for the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) Implementation Project. Previously, Pillitteri led research programs in smart grid cybersecurity and cyber-physical systems cybersecurity. She holds an M.S. in computer science from the George Washington University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland.
