Lindsay (Cates) Burton is the Director, Communications at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where she leads communications strategy for partner-branded campaigns. Recent work includes supporting strategic communications campaigns focused on strengthening disaster resilience, preparing the future workforce, and providing AI training for small businesses. Her role also includes leading communications for the U.S. Chamber's small business advocacy programs including the CO—100: America's Top 100 Small Business awards, the Small Business Index, and the Small Business Council.

Lindsay was a 2023 winner of the U.S. Chamber's Shared Purpose Award for exemplifying the organization's core values of accountability, partnership, commitment, and integrity.

Lindsay began her career as a writer and editor at U.S. News and World Report. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Washington and Lee University.
