Since 2015, the farm has embraced crop rotation, perennial planting, and natural growing methods — spraying nothing but “love” — to ensure high quality ingredients rooted in responsible land care. Deeply committed to community connection and food justice, Green Thumbs partners with organizations like Community Well and the Urban Arts Collaborative to expand access to fresh organic produce, empower youth, and support culturally responsive wellness programs. Through initiatives such as Produce for the People, the farm has helped more than 152 families handpick seasonal produce and learn about its healing properties, while long standing collaboration with UAC provides clean food and immersive food justice education to over 1,000 underserved youth and adults each year.
