The Flour Girl is a community-focused bakery and café specializing in handcrafted sourdough bread made from wild yeast starter and traditional fermentation techniques. With over 80 rotating sourdough flavors and a daily menu of small-batch pastries, the bakery pairs its inventive offerings with a custom coffee blend developed in collaboration with Chubby Dog Coffee. The campus spans three buildings (soon to be four) and includes a 900-square-foot event space for private gatherings, reinforcing its role as both a neighborhood hub and destination for artisan bread lovers. Originally launched as a porch pickup operation through a Facebook group, The Flour Girl has grown through strong community relationships, consistent quality, and organic word-of-mouth. The team regularly donates $300–$500 per month to local organizations and prioritizes personal connections that foster long-term loyalty — demonstrating that sustainable growth can come from investing in people as much as product.
