Bijoy Sagar is Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Digital Transformation Officer of Bayer, the global life sciences company spanning pharmaceuticals, consumer health and crop science. He joined Bayer in April 2020 and assumed the role that June, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. He leads Bayer's information technology and digital transformation, including its move to the cloud, AI and data platforms, and the shift of IT from projects to products and platforms. He previously spent six years at medical technology company Stryker, first as Chief Information Officer and then as Chief Digital Technology Officer. Earlier he held technology roles at Merck KGaA, where he was CIO of Merck Millipore, and at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Amgen and Eli Lilly.
