Brian Wommack is vice president of communications at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, leading communications on the organization’s most consequential priorities, including litigation, crisis response and high-stakes policy debates.
He advises senior leadership on reputational risk and supports the Chamber’s engagement on key national issues.
Previously, Wommack held senior roles at Weber Shandwick and Ketchum, advising Fortune 100 companies and trade associations on crisis management, media strategy and reputation. He began his career practicing law, working in Congress, lobbying and clerking for a federal judge.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his law degree with honors from the University of Illinois College of Law.
