
Gilberto Tomazoni

Mechanical engineer with a postgraduate degree in management, with extensive experience and deep knowledge of the global food industry. Spent 27 years at Sadia, starting as a trainee and becoming CEO. Later served for three years as Vice President at Bunge Alimentos, managing the food and ingredients business and acting as Executive Director for South and Central America. Joined JBS as Global President of the Poultry Business and, as CEO of Seara Alimentos, successfully led its turnaround. Appointed Global President of Operations in 2015 and Global COO in 2017. Became Global CEO of JBS in December 2018, the world’s largest food company, with revenues exceeding US$80 billion and listed on the NYSE.
Since 2013, chairs the Board of Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation, a U.S. company listed on NASDAQ with revenues of US$18 billion.
Also serves as Chairman of Rigamonti Salumificio S.p.A. (Italy) and Excelsior Alimentos S.A. (Brazil). Board member of JBS N.V., Brazilian Fast Food Corporation (BFFC), Amcham (American Chamber of Commerce), CDESS (Economic and Social Development Council of the Presidency of Brazil), and founding member of the International Advisory Board of Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC).
