John Kay

John Kay is Senior Director for Europe at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he heads the U.S.–UK Business Council and leads work on life sciences, agriculture, and other key policy areas within the Chamber’s Europe program.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Kay was Head of Programs and Strategic Partnerships at the CELIS Institute, where he led initiatives on economic security and investment policy. He previously held multiple roles at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), most recently as Program Director for Transatlantic and Eastern Europe.

Kay began his career with the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development. He holds a master’s degree from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree from Bard College.
