John Hopkins has led NuScale Power, developer of small modular reactor technology, as President and CEO since 2012, guiding the company from development through regulatory approval and its public listing. NuScale's design was the first small modular reactor to receive U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission design approval, and the company is pursuing commercial deployment with utility and developer partners. Before NuScale, he spent more than two decades at Fluor Corporation, including as Group President.
