Jonathan Webb is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Nuclear Company. The company is building America's nuclear infrastructure platform, combining proven reactor technology with modern execution, and artificial intelligence to deliver gigawatt-scale nuclear power campuses.
Throughout his career, Jonathan has focused on solving complex infrastructure challenges by deploying large-scale, first-of-a-kind facilities and building organizations capable of executing projects that require long-term planning, disciplined execution, and close coordination among private capital, government, and industry. His work has centered on developing resilient infrastructure platforms designed to address some of the nation's most significant economic and strategic challenges.
Jonathan supported the U.S. Army Office of Energy Initiatives within the Department of Defense in developing and deploying privately financed, mission-critical energy infrastructure for military installations across the United States. The office was created to strengthen the resilience of critical national infrastructure by accelerating the deployment of secure, on-site energy generation through partnerships between the federal government and private industry. Following that work, he led the buildout of first-of-a-kind, high-tech, resilient infrastructure projects totaling nearly eight million square feet while building organizations responsible for delivering some of America's most ambitious industrial developments in Appalachia. Built over the course of the pandemic, all of those assets are operating today.
He now leads The Nuclear Company with the conviction that America's next era of economic growth will depend upon rebuilding its ability to develop critical infrastructure at unprecedented scale. As manufacturing returns to the United States, electricity demand accelerates, and artificial intelligence transforms the global economy, the nation requires a new generation of companies capable of deploying abundant, reliable baseload power.
The Nuclear Company was founded to meet that challenge, which has seen the United States start and built just two nuclear reactors in more than three decades. Rather than designing new reactor technologies, the company is building an integrated platform to deploy, operate, and service fleets of nuclear power plants while using digital technologies to modernize this work and transform nuclear deployment from a series of bespoke projects into a repeatable industrial capability.
