Keelie Broom
  • Vice President, Government Affairs, U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Keelie joined the U.S. Chamber following a unique career in Congress, where she served in various roles, including chief of staff to Rep.  Burgess Owens (R-UT); counsel to the chairman and GOP staff director for the Committee on Ethics; and deputy director of the chief administrative officer’s Congressional Excellence Program.

Before her time on Capitol Hill, Keelie was policy counsel for Marsy’s Law for All, advocating for robust victims’ rights at the state level. She also served as Nevada communications director for the Republican National Committee during the 2018 midterm elections.

A graduate of Tulane University Law School, Keelie practiced law in New Orleans for several years before transitioning into government and politics. She brings to the Chamber a deep background in advocacy and a profound appreciation for congressional operations and institutional dynamics.
