Lisa Weitzel, IOM, CAE

Lisa serves as the President of the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (IACCE). She has served in that role since January 2013. Lisa initially joined IACCE as its Communications Director in May 2011, serving concurrently as the Communications Manager for the Illinois Chamber of Commerce through February of 2014. Additionally, Lisa is an instructor for Institute for Organization Management, a nonprofit professional development program of the U.S. Chamber, specializing in Governance and Ethics.
Lisa also serves on Institute for Organization Management’s Midwest Board of Regents. Previously, Lisa was a member of the State of Illinois P-20 Council which identifies needed reforms to develop a seamless and sustainable statewide system of quality education and support. Lisa served two terms on the Ball-Chatham CUSD #5 Board of Education as well as serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB). Additionally, Lisa was a past Director of the Illinois State Museum Society Board and Illinois Women in Leadership.
Lisa has her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Northern Illinois University. She has her Institute for Organization Management (IOM) designation from the U. S. Chamber of Commerce and her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from The Center for Association Management (ASAE), the highest honor of professional achievement available from ASAE.
