Peggy Collins is Washington Bureau Chief for Bloomberg News, a role she has held since 2021. She previously served as managing editor of Bloomberg's U.S. economy team and led its U.S. investing team, broadening coverage to private equity, endowments and pensions. Earlier she reported on retirement savings, tax policy and wealth management and co-hosted the weekly "Tax Tips" show on Bloomberg Radio. Before joining Bloomberg in 2009, she was a multimedia editor at MSN Money and a reporter for The Record in New Jersey. She holds a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
