Toby Rice

Toby Rice has been President and CEO of EQT, the largest natural gas producer in the United States, since 2019, after leading a shareholder campaign to remake the company around technology and operational efficiency. He co-founded Rice Energy, which merged with EQT in 2017. Under his leadership EQT acquired Equitrans Midstream, becoming a vertically integrated gas company, and he is a prominent advocate for expanding U.S. LNG exports and natural gas to meet power demand from data centers and manufacturing.
