U.S. Chamber files amicus brief addressing application of state law to nationwide class action

NCLC urged the Washington Supreme Court to review this case to decide whether Washington law should apply to nationwide class actions brought by consumers outside of Washington. NCLC argued that Washington should join the vast majority of courts considering this issue to hold that a consumer’s home state - not the business’s headquarters state - should supply the law to protect consumers.
