The U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) is excited to announce its 47th Annual General Meeting and India Ideas Summit, taking place September 6-7, 2022This year, we’re delighted to be returning to an in-person format and will be hosting our Summit at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.

Our focus for the Summit is on “Maximizing the Next 75 Years of U.S.–India Prosperity” – reflecting the milestone 75 years of diplomatic relations between the U.S. and India and the continued growth of our partnership for global good. 

Topics and themes of discussion at the 47th India Ideas Summit will include: 

  • The Indo-Pacific. Participants will discuss U.S.-India Partnership in the context of the Indo-Pacific and an increasingly dynamic and competitive strategic landscape. 
  • The Future of Energy. We will explore avenues for U.S.-India cooperation to achieve energy security and transition, as the world endures high fuel and commodity prices while also seeking pathways for climate-sensitive development.  
  • The Digital Economy. Key movers and shakers from across government and industry will have conversations on U.S.-India tech convergence and frameworks for growing and governing the digital economy.  
  • Social Development. Our Summit will provide a platform to highlight the role of global companies in driving gender equality and social development across the U.S.-India corridor and around the world.
