Elizabeth Solis

Elizabeth Solis is an intern in the Strategic Advocacy Division at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Solis researches and writes blog posts on housing policy initiatives and conducts research and produces databases on pressing policy issues, including tariffs, national debt, budget cuts, and executive orders. 

Solis is a Master of Public Policy Candidate (MPP) at the University of Maryland specializing in international security and economic policy. She serves on state and local human trafficking task forces, is the president of the university’s International Policy Council, and was named the 2025–2026 Florence and Norman Brody Scholar for the School of Public Policy.   

Solis received her Bachelor in Public and Nonprofit Administration from Eastern Michigan University in 2024 with departmental honors and as a Ronald E. McNair Scholar.
