
Jen Scungio

Jen Scungio is the Senior Director, Editorial and Digital Media at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She leads the strategy and execution of the Chamber’s editorial, digital, and social media efforts. Jen drives the creation of compelling, high-quality content that advances the Chamber’s advocacy and policy priorities, expands its reach, and deepens audience engagement.
Prior to the Chamber, she served as the Digital Communications Manager for the American Clean Power Association, a national trade association representing the renewable energy industry. In her role, Jen led digital communications and social media strategy, content, and engagement initiatives for the organization. Jen’s work on ACP’s website earned the organization a 2022 Webby nomination for Best Association Website.
Prior to ACP, Jen was the Director of Communications and Digital Media at the Financial Services Forum, an economic policy and advocacy trade association comprised of the eight largest banks in America. During her 10-year tenure at the Forum, she expanded the Forum’s digital media presence by establishing the organization’s social media properties and led the Forum’s rebranding and website redesign. While at the Forum, Jen worked on a variety of financial issues, including the implementation of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, financial modernization in China, and trade.
Before the Forum, Jen worked in communications at the Bank Policy Institute, with a focus on financial literacy, microfinance, and corporate social responsibility. She also was a local reporter for the Southern Rhode Island Newspaper group.
A native of Rhode Island, Jen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with honors from the University of Rhode Island. She served as managing editor of the university’s daily newspaper, The Good 5 Cent Cigar.
