Megan Beeson is a Manager of State Legislative Affairs with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Legal Reform, where she oversees a broad portfolio of state-level activity and tracks legislative developments across more than 20 states. In this role, she works closely with Chamber members, state and local chambers of commerce, and allied legal reform organizations to advance policies that promote a fair and balanced civil justice system. Beeson develops advocacy strategies, drafts policy briefs and articles, and provides analysis on emerging legal and regulatory trends impacting the business community.

Her work is particularly focused on complex legal reform challenges, including efforts to oppose retroactive climate change penalty legislation. Drawing on her background at the intersection of policy and law, Beeson brings a practical and strategic perspective to multistate advocacy efforts. She earned her law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and is committed to advancing thoughtful, durable reforms that support economic growth and innovation.
