This joint letter was sent to all members of the U.S. House of Representatives in support of legislative action to reform our nation's health care system.

TO THE MEMBERS OF THE U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:
The 2026 State of American Business
Discover what U.S. Chamber President and CEO Suzanne Clark and leading business leaders are saying about the state of the economy and the top issues shaping the domestic and global business landscape in 2026 and beyond.
We the undersigned organizations recognize that the current health care system of this
country under the ACA is not working and is in need of serious and deep reforms. We support
the legislation which has passed through the House’s three committees as it attempts to address
these problems through many provisions including those which alleviate burdens and reduce
taxes on employers and others who operate within the health care sectors.
We commend and support the House for taking these steps while recognizing that
changes will be needed as the legislative process continues through the House and Senate. We
urge your support for the process and look forward to continuing to work with policy makers as
this legislation is further refined.
Sincerely,
