WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Chamber Executive Vice President Tom Quaadman issued the following statement on the U.S. Senate’s bipartisan confirmation of Kathi Vidal to serve as Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Vidal’s distinguished record in patent litigation, including her work with the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), is evidence of the experience and perspective that is indispensable and invaluable in a USPTO Director.
