Grace Williams is manager of Health Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she plays a key role in shaping and executing the Health Policy team’s advocacy priorities. Williams contributes to policy that promotes a stronger employer-based coverage system, drives innovation in care delivery, and improves health care affordability and access. She conducts research on emerging health policy issues, supports high-impact projects, and works with congressional offices and federal agencies to help ensure that the business community has a seat at the table in critical health policy conversations.

Williams began her time at the Chamber as an associate manager on the Tax, Economic, and Health Policy teams before moving into her current role.

Prior to joining the Chamber, she held various roles in government relations and legislative affairs. She served as a congressional intern in the House office of then-U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill supporting the legislative team on issues related to the House Armed Services Committee. She also gained experience in defense and national security policy at CAE and honed her skills in client advocacy and legislative tracking at OGR (Ogilvy Government Relations) and Monument Advocacy.

Williams has an MA in public management from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in political science from Rhodes College, where she was a student-athlete on the women’s varsity lacrosse team.
