Lexi Branson serves as Vice President of Health Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she leads the Chamber’s Health Policy Division and drives policy development and advocacy efforts across the healthcare landscape. In this role, she engages with Congress, the administration, and regulatory agencies to advance the Chamber’s priorities. Lexi also develops and executes a comprehensive strategy focused on improving patient outcomes by championing innovation, enhancing chronic disease management, promoting responsible use of artificial intelligence, and safeguarding the employer-based coverage system.

Prior to this role, Lexi served as Deputy Vice President of Advocacy and Strategic Alliances at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) where she advised senior leaders on political strategy, coalition building and strategic planning. In her role, Lexi oversaw all federal field activities, managing a national team of grassroots activists and leading high-impact advocacy campaigns to drive critical policy reforms within the biopharmaceutical industry. She also served as a registered federal lobbyist, working to influence lawmakers and regulatory agencies to support the development of life-saving medicines and treatments. Her work was central to advancing PhRMA’s efforts on key issues affecting the industry, from regulatory reform to legislative initiatives.

Previously, Lexi served as Executive Director of Federation Programs and Grassroots at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she managed the grassroots advocacy and policy communications efforts for over 1,500 state and local chambers of commerce and 500 national trade associations. She revitalized the grassroots program and led digital advertising efforts, reaching 2 million people annually, while also overseeing congressional coalition efforts and policy briefings.

Lexi was proud to serve in multiple roles during President Donald Trump’s first Administration, including the White House Offices of Public Liaison and Presidential Personnel. In addition, she held the position of Deputy Director of Special Projects for the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee and Deputy Director of Delegate Experience at the 2016 Republican National Convention. She began her career working for Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives—Rep. Tom Price (GA-06), Rep. Paul Broun (GA-10), and Rep. Ted Yoho (FL-03).

A Georgia native, Lexi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia. She resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband, Ross, and their children, Knox and Aria.
