“Dick Cheney was a dedicated public servant, businessman, and steadfast champion of American free enterprise. Throughout his distinguished career—from the private sector to the highest levels of government—he understood that economic strength underpins a strong nation.
“The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is grateful for his partnership, his principled leadership, and his enduring example. We send our heartfelt condolences to the Cheney family and to all those who had the privilege of working alongside him.”
