Washington, D.C. — Today, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer, Neil Bradley, issues the following statement following Representative Steve Stivers' (R, OH-15) retirement:
"The U.S Chamber congratulates Congressman Steve Stivers on his new role as President and CEO of the Ohio Chamber. We know that Steve will be a great champion of pro-business policies in his state. For over a decade, he has served Ohio with distinction in the U.S. House of Representatives while working hand-in-hand with his home state's Chamber of Commerce. A true friend of business, Steve has continually voted in favor of pro-growth policies and leaves Congress with a 95% lifetime score from the U.S. Chamber's scorecard. We look forward to a strong partnership and working closely together with him in his new role.
"The Chamber also recognizes outgoing president and CEO Andrew Doehrel and his nearly four decades of advocacy for business. Since taking the leadership position in 1993, Andy has been a steadfast partner in standing up for businesses small and large. We thank him for his leadership and congratulate him on his well-deserved retirement."
