WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce congratulates Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on his election to be the next president of Brazil and looks forward to working closely with him to strengthen the vital hemispheric partnership between the United States and Brazil. 

“Brazil is a key strategic partner to the U.S. business community in important areas with global impact such as food security, energy transition, and regional integration. The Chamber looks forward to working with the new administration on economic and trade matters with an eye to promoting stability and prosperity throughout the region,” said Suzanne P. Clark, President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
