WASHINGTON, DC — As the G20 Innovation Ministerial concludes in North Carolina, Neil Bradley, Chief Policy Officer at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, issued the following statement:
“The business community appreciates the focus of the G20 Innovation Ministerial on the promise of emerging technologies to drive global growth around the world. The private sector is the engine to unlock prosperity and improve the quality of life for all people, and collaboration with governments will be essential to ensure that sensible regulatory frameworks and pro-growth policies are in place.
“Secretary Lutnick, OSTP Director Kratsios, and the G20 team should be commended for building consensus amongst G20 ministers and for their focus on deliverables that help advance the use of AI to improve productivity and create opportunities for workers and for the economy.”

This year, the B20 summit— the official private sector engagement forum representing the global business community within the G20— will be hosted in the U.S. for the first time. From November 9–11, Washington D.C.'s vibrant Wharf neighborhood will transform into a hub for over 2,000 global business leaders, policymakers, and innovators from over 60 countries.
This momentum toward B20 USA continued this week as B20 USA Sherpa Kevin Brady was joined by the Chamber team, top sponsors, and special guests to ring the Nasdaq Opening Bell in New York City.
