Building Momentum,Alexandria, VA

Building Momentum team

The co-founders of Building Momentum were inspired by their experiences in war-torn countries trying to assist the U.S. military by solving problems on the battlefield. At Building Momentum, they develop problem solving programming for the military, the corporate board room, and school-aged children.

"When COVID-19 forced children to learn virtually in 2020, we were able to partner with other community organizations to manufacture more than 450 desks to deliver to community centers, schools and even people’s homes." – Building Momentum

IT Veterans, LLC, Herndon, VA

IT Veterans

After missing the community and sense of purpose they had when serving in the military, Austin West and Tim Chabail sought to recreate it when they founded IT Veterans.

The company focuses on secure mobility, IT infrastructure, forensic accounting, and cybersecurity. They help their customers work from anywhere, while keeping sensitive data safe.

"We work hard to create an atmosphere where our employees feel valued and part of a larger family. We celebrate birthdays and other life events. We and our employees establish meaningful long-term relationships with each other, and as a team we produce solid results for our customers. It’s a win-win!" – IT Veterans, LLC
