WASHINGTON, D.C. —  Marty Durbin, President of the U.S. Chamber’s Global Energy Institute, issued the following statement regarding proposals by the House Republican Energy, Climate, and Conservation Task Force unveiled today:

"We can improve our energy security through increased domestic production while accelerating the clean energy transition, with the American business community as leaders in that effort. Congress must act to set that path. We commend Republican leaders on the constructive proposals unveiled today, which are an important step toward building the consensus that will be needed. We will work with all policymakers, Republicans and Democrats alike, to help forge our energy and climate future."
