When the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance was moved indoors due to extreme weather, many guests were left without a seat.
So the Chamber hosted a viewing party.
"Presidential inaugurations are a powerful reminder of the strength of our great nation and the promise that America’s best days lie ahead," said Chamber President and CEO Suzanne P. Clark.
The watch party included invited guests of members of Congress who had seats outside but were not able to be in the Capitol once the program was moved indoors and space reduced. Guests at the Chamber included local chamber executives, business leaders, and constituents invited by members of Congress.
The Chamber will work with the new Administration to increase opportunities for all Americans. Through effective partnership, we will advance the nation’s economic priorities and allow businesses of all sizes and their workers to thrive.
