The U.S. Chamber of Commerce supports pro-business candidates who advance policies that fuel economic growth and exhibit a clear willingness to back free enterprise policy solutions. The U.S. Chamber understands that for the country to succeed, businesses need to succeed. That’s why the U.S. Chamber is committed to supporting bold and unwavering pro-business advocates.

“It is a great honor to receive the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce," said Representative Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11). “Throughout my career I have always sought to advocate on behalf of innovators and job creators, cut red tape to release American ingenuity and bring pro-growth and free enterprise solutions to Staten Island and Southern Brooklyn. As the daughter of small business owners, I understand the challenges they face and how government all too often burdens and discourages instead of incentivizes and encourages. With the right leadership in Washington and the Chamber's continuing work to better the business environment in my community and nationally, I know the future is bright! On to Victory in November."

On September 12, the Chamber was in New York for a series of official and campaign events for Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11).

In coordination with the U.S. Chamber’s political team, the Eastern Region office, Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and the Malliotakis campaign, the U.S. Chamber held two successful events in New York’s Eleventh Congressional District. The trip included a business roundtable and an endorsement event. During the endorsement event, I also presented Congresswoman Malliotakis with the U.S. Chamber’s Advocate for American Business Award.

The U.S. Chamber partnered with the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce to host a well-attended roundtable event at the Staten Island Chamber. Congresswoman Malliotakis spoke to their members about job creation and government regulations. They also toured the new Nicotra Corporate Commons, a new office building that will house 2,500 more jobs in the 11th District.

The roundtable was followed by an endorsement announcement, where I presented Congresswoman Malliotakis with the U.S. Chamber’s endorsement.

Rep. Malliotakis’s endorsement was covered by SI Live and Brooklyn Paper.
