Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Michael Rulli to represent Ohio’s Sixth Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will stand up for free enterprise, including by vigorously advocating for public policy solutions that will spur economic growth, support jobs, and promote businesses of all sizes’ ability to continue to innovate and invest in America.

"The Chamber is proud to support Ohio State Senator Rulli in his race to represent Ohio's Sixth Congressional District in Congress," said Kevin Courtois, Vice President of the Chamber's Great Lakes Region. "Michael Rulli's long history as a local entrepreneur and job creator who has fought for pro-growth solutions in the state legislature makes this a clear choice in the race for Congress. Our nation and Ohio would benefit directly from his real-world experience in building a business, signing paychecks, and working to create opportunities for his fellow constituents."

“I'm honored to receive the endorsement from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, I wouldn't be in the position I am today without our family's Grocery Stores, Rulli Bros. Markets,” said Ohio State Senator Michael Rulli. “Our small business employs hundreds across the Ohio Valley, and in Congress I'll fight to keep jobs here, lower the cost of living, and strengthen Ohio's economy.”

“We support the U.S. Chamber’s thorough endorsement process for Congressional candidates in Ohio’s 2024 primary election,” said Ohio Chamber President & CEO Steve Stivers. “They endorsed Michael Rulli because he has proven throughout his time in the Ohio Senate that he is committed to strengthening Ohio’s and our country’s economic climates. As Director of Operations for his family’s business, Sen. Rulli understands small businesses in Ohio and the challenges they face. Last year, he sponsored Senate Bill 98, legislation that the Ohio Chamber strongly supported, to protect entrepreneurs from business identity theft, business fraud, and deceptive solicitations. The U.S. Chamber knows that Sen. Rulli would continue to prioritize the business community if elected to the U.S. House.”
