Washington, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Representative Abigail Spanberger to represent Virginia’s Seventh Congressional District. The Chamber endorses pro-business candidates for federal office who will vigorously support public policy that will advance economic growth, support jobs, and promote fiscal responsibility.

“Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger has delivered for business owners, workers, and the families of Virginia during her time in Congress,” said Moore Hallmark, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Vice President and Managing Director of Regional Government Affairs. “Rep. Spanberger is a tireless champion for pro-growth policies, demonstrating this through her leadership and work in passing the bipartisan infrastructure law. The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse Representative Spanberger in her re-election.”

“Virginia is consistently ranked as one of the top states for business in America,” said Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger. “But there is more that can be done, which is why I’m working tirelessly to protect the livelihoods of our business owners and deliver results for our workforce. In Congress, I have a record of cutting red tape, investing in our physical infrastructure, and making sure the next generation of workers has the tools and training they need to succeed. Last year, I was proud to work with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as we built a coalition of Republicans and Democrats to push the bipartisan infrastructure law across the finish line. Smart policies like these will help Virginia’s economy grow — and they demonstrate why I am honored to once again have the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.”
