Scottsbluff, NE – On Thursday, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Representative Adrian Smith to represent Nebraska’s Third Congressional District. The Chamber endorses pro-business candidates for federal office who will vigorously support public policy that will advance economic growth, support jobs, and promote fiscal responsibility.

"As a Nebraska native, Representative Adrian Smith has a strong understanding of the challenges facing Nebraska's workforce and families,” said John Kirchner, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Midwest Region Vice President. “Rep. Smith has established himself as a strong defender of free enterprise and has a proven record of delivering results on behalf of his constituents. It is this leadership that has earned him the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. We are proud to support Congressman Adrian Smith in his re-election.”

“The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s members are on the frontlines of our economy – they are our nation’s employers, innovators, and entrepreneurs,” said Congressman Adrian Smith. “I am grateful to have the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for my re-election and look forward to working with the Chamber in the next Congress to make permanent tax reform for American families and small businesses, to open markets and fair trade for Nebraska farmers and manufacturers, and to provide regulatory relief for agriculture and small business.”
