WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of candidate Mike Bouchard for Michigan's Tenth Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.

“The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse Mike Bouchard to represent Michigan’s 10th Congressional District,” said Kevin Courtois, Vice President of the Chamber’s Great Lakes Region. “Mike’s story is deeply rooted in Michigan; in service, hard work, and a belief that strong communities are built by people who show up and do the job. As a third-generation Michigander, he comes from a family that has served Southeast Michigan in uniform and on the factory floor. From his grandfather’s work at General Motors in Warren to his own service in the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, Mike understands the people and industries that helped build Michigan’s middle class. That experience has shaped the way he leads – with discipline and a clear focus on results. The U.S. Chamber is proud to support Mike, and we look forward to working with him to advance pro-growth policies that strengthen local communities and expand opportunity for Michigan workers and families.”

“Mike Bouchard brings a strong commitment to public service, an understanding of Michigan's manufacturing heritage and a clear focus on keeping our state competitive. He recognizes that businesses are an important part of a thriving, growing Michigan,” said Jim Holcomb, president & CEO of the Michigan Chamber. “We believe he’ll bring an important perspective and results-focused approach to representing Michigan employers in Congress. The Michigan Chamber is proud to endorse his candidacy.”

“Mike Bouchard, former US Army Captain, is a patriot who brings a mission-first mindset focused on common sense solutions. Bouchard’s commitment to cutting red tape that burdens small businesses and the manufacturing economy makes him a strong partner for economic growth," said Sandy K. Baruah, President and CEO of the Detroit Regional Chamber.
