WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Addison McDowell for North Carolina's Sixth District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.
“The U.S. Chamber is pleased to announce our support and endorsement for Representative Addison McDowell in North Carolina’s 6th Congressional District,” said Moore Hallmark, Vice President & Managing Director for Regional Government Affairs. “Representative McDowell has been a champion for lowering taxes and cutting regulatory red tape, and he is a key leader in supporting growth and opportunity for his constituents. We are proud to stand with him and look forward to working together in the 120th Congress.”
"In today’s age, where it feels like failed socialist policies are once again being experimented with, whether in New York City or Minnesota, it’s more important than ever to stand with American businesses and workers,” said Rep. McDowell. “Legislators need to make it easier for Main Street businesses to create good-paying jobs, not harder. I look forward to continuing to partner with the U.S. Chamber for the betterment of North Carolinians across the 6th District.”
