WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Bill Huizenga for Michigan's Fourth Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.

“Congressman Bill Huizenga is a proven leader and advocate for West Michigan’s job creators and the American free enterprise system,” said Kevin Courtois, Vice President of the Chamber’s Great Lakes Region. “As a senior leader on the Financial Services Committee, he has been instrumental in protecting our capital markets, expanding access to credit for small businesses, and fighting back against costly government overreach. The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse Congressman Huizenga for reelection because we know he will continue to champion the pro-growth policies that empower American entrepreneurs to succeed.”

“Congressman Huizenga understands what it takes for Michigan businesses to compete, invest and grow. His leadership on financial policy, regulatory reform and access to capital is important to employers of all sizes, particularly for the small businesses and manufacturers that power our economy,” said Jim Holcomb, president & CEO of the Michigan Chamber. “He’s a knowledgeable, experienced advocate for strengthening Michigan’s business climate and the Michigan Chamber is proud to endorse his reelection."

“Rep. Bill Huizenga, as the Vice Chair of House Financial Services, has been a longtime leader in Congress, ensuring pragmatic policies that promote economic fundamentals and free enterprise," said Sandy K. Baruah, President and CEO of the Detroit Regional Chamber.
