WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Kevin Steele for Florida’s 14th district. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.

“Kevin Steele understands the challenges facing America's job creators because he's lived them. As an entrepreneur who built a successful business, he brings firsthand experience creating jobs, making payroll, and navigating the policies that affect businesses every day,” said Ashlee Rich Stephenson, Senior Political Strategist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “Throughout Rep. Steele’s service in the Florida Legislature, he has championed policies that strengthen free enterprise, support economic growth, and help businesses succeed. The Chamber is proud to endorse Kevin Steele for Congress and looks forward to working with him to advance policies that keep America's economy strong.”

“I'm honored to have the endorsement of the U.S Chamber of Commerce,” said Rep. Kevin Steele. “The Chamber fights for the people who make our country work. I built a business from the ground up. I met payroll. I signed the front of the check — and I know exactly what overregulation, high taxes, and Washington red tape do to America's business owners, big and small, because I've lived it. The fight ahead is one of the most consequential in our nation's history — a choice between common sense, free markets, and opportunity for all, and a radical brand of democratic socialism that threatens the very fabric of what it means to be American. The U.S. Chamber understands how much is at stake, and I look forward to working together to keep the American Dream alive and well for every American — and to win the fight that's coming.”
