WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Lisa McClain for Michigan’s Ninth Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.

“The U.S. Chamber is pleased to announce our endorsement of Representative Lisa McClain for reelection in Michigan’s Ninth Congressional District,” said Kathy Zhu, Manager of the Chamber’s Great Lakes Region. “Congresswoman McClain has a strong record defending Michigan’s job creators and the free market system. Drawing on her own extensive background in business, she understands what it takes to cut burdensome regulations and empower local entrepreneurs to thrive. We are proud to support Representative McClain, and we look forward to continuing to work with her in the 120th Congress.”

“Congresswoman McClain brings a business owner’s perspective and a firsthand understanding of the challenges employers face – from rising costs and regulatory burdens to finding and developing talent,” said Jim Holcomb, president & CEO of the Michigan Chamber. “As House Conference Chairwoman, she brings Michigan’s priorities to the forefront of national decision-making, giving our job creators a powerful advocate in Washington. We are proud to endorse Congresswoman McClain’s reelection.”
