WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Rick Allen for Georgia’s Twelfth Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.

"The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is proud to endorse Congressman Rick Allen for re-election in Georgia’s 12th District. As a small business owner himself before coming to Congress, Rep. Allen understands what it takes for Georgia employers to compete and grow. He’s been a consistent champion for pro-growth tax policy that lets businesses reinvest, and he’s fought to cut the red tape that too often holds back Georgia job creators,” said Andrea Porwoll, Vice President, Government Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “During his time in Congress, Rep. Allen has shown he understands that federal policies created in Washington directly impact local employers’ ability to grow, invest, and expand. We’re grateful for his leadership on these priorities and look forward to working with him to keep Georgia’s 12th District open for business.”

"I am proud to have the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for my re-election to continue serving Georgia's 12th District in Congress. As a former small business owner, I understand the importance of reducing federal bureaucracy, cutting wasteful spending, balancing the budget, and advancing policies that allow Main Street to thrive. Small businesses are the backbone of our rural communities in the 12th District and I remain committed to ensuring their sustained growth, prosperity, and success," said Congressman Allen.
