WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. William Timmons for South Carolina’s Fourth Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.
“The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is proud to endorse Congressman William Timmons for re-election in South Carolina's 4th District. From the I-85 manufacturing corridor to the small businesses of Greenville and Spartanburg, Rep. Timmons knows what drives the Upstate economy. He champions pro-growth tax reform that gives employers certainty to invest and hire, and regulatory reform that cuts red tape. He's also fought for the transportation investments that keep goods moving, from the Inland Port in Greer to the Port of Charleston. South Carolina businesses can count on him to deliver practical results, and we look forward to working with him in the next Congress,” said Clark Jackson, Senior Director of the U.S. Chamber’s southeastern regional office.
