WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Opportunity Tour – a national bus tour promoting free enterprise – hosted Rep. Rob Bresnahan (PA-08) for an endorsement event in Exeter, PA. The Opportunity Tour is a part of the U.S. Chamber’s New Fight for Free Enterprise initiative, a multi-year strategic effort to defend, protect, and promote free enterprise.

“The U.S. Chamber is proud to be in Exeter today to show our support for Rep. Rob Bresnahan in his reelection to represent Pennsylvania’s eighth district. A small business owner, Rob understands the challenges Main Streets, families, and communities face. He is committed to advancing free enterprise principles that allow businesses and workers to grow and thrive, and the U.S. Chamber is excited to continue working with him next Congress to champion pro-growth policies in Northeast Pennsylvania and across the country,” said Neil Bradley, Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

For six weeks, the Free Enterprise Express bus will visit the businesses whose ideas, products, and services help make communities stronger, more vibrant, and uniquely their own. The bus will travel to key states to drive the debate about what it takes for people, businesses, and communities to thrive. It is planned in partnership with state and local chamber members.

The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.
