PALMER, A.K. — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recently joined the Alaska Chamber of Commerce for a Working Families Tax Cuts Act Roundtable, which brought together Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA), Congressman Nick Begich (R-AK), Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE), and Alaska employers to underscore the importance of extending key tax provisions that support workers, investment, and economic growth. Participants also discussed permitting reform and other federal priorities impacting Alaska businesses.
Before the roundtable, the U.S. Chamber announced its endorsement of Rep. Begich to represent Alaska’s at-large district. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.
