The U.S. Chamber of Commerce strongly supports the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which would permanently extend President Trump’s pro-growth tax reforms, curb the growth in federal spending, and advance important regulatory reforms.
This legislation is vital to enhancing America's global competitiveness, fueling long-term economic growth, and avoiding the largest automatic tax increase in U.S. history. It is particularly important to the continued success of America’s small businesses, with data showing small businesses in districts across the country benefiting substantially. Earlier this year, the U.S. Chamber led nearly 500 business organizations in calling on Congress to permanently extend the competitive, pro-growth tax reforms that have enabled American businesses, workers, and families to prosper. This legislation would answer that call and give businesses the certainty they need to make long-term investments that drive growth, accelerate productivity, and raise wages across all segments of the economy. The impact of a stable, globally competitive tax code on businesses of all types and sizes cannot be understated.
We urge the Senate to maintain momentum by moving this legislation forward in the reconciliation process. We urge you to support this crucial legislation to ensure a more prosperous future for our nation.
