New York, NY — Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce collaborated with Citi and the Ukraine Business Advisory Council in hosting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. private sector leaders on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly in New York.

President Zelenskyy’s remarks were followed by an open discussion with top U.S. business leaders representing the defense, energy, financial, and insurance sectors.
This marks the third year that the U.S. Chamber has helped bring together top U.S. business leaders with President Zelenskyy on the sidelines of UNGA, reflecting the U.S. Chamber's sustained leadership in mobilizing the American private sector around Ukraine's long-term economic recovery through commercial diplomacy and its Ukraine Business Initiative.
The discussion also built momentum ahead of the B20 Summit, the official business engagement forum of the G20, which the U.S. Chamber will host this November in Washington, D.C., marking the first time the B20 has ever been held in the U.S. Ukraine's economic recovery, energy resilience, and the role of private sector investment are expected to feature on the agenda.
