The U.S. Chamber of Commerce will host the third annual Transatlantic Business Works Summit, highlighting the benefits of the world's largest bilateral trade and investment relationship—between the United States and Europe. Over 16 million jobs on both sides of the Atlantic rely on bilateral trade and investment. Nearly 60% of all U.S. foreign investment goes to Europe, while over half of all European foreign investment coming to the United States.

This annual event brings together policymakers, thought leaders, and business executives from across Europe and the United States to identify ways to strengthen our commercial ties. This year, we are focusing specifically on ways that transatlantic businesses can promote sustainability and energy efficiency, and enhance our cooperation in the fast-evolving digital economy.

Finally, this event will mark the launch of the annual Transatlantic Economy study that the Chamber produces in partnership with AmCham EU and Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies. The report highlights key trends in the transatlantic economic relationship and tracks the benefits for each U.S. state and all European countries.

European Commissioner for Trade Phil Hogan and Director of the National Economic Council, Dr. Larry Kudlow, have been confirmed as keynote speakers.
