WASHINGTON, D.C. – Mike Flood, senior vice president of the Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, issued the following statement regarding President Trump’s executive order addressing the proxy system:
"The Chamber commends President Trump for today's action to address some of the biggest problems within the proxy system. Ensuring transparency and accountability for proxy advisors and taking politics out of the annual proxy process are two of the biggest priorities for the Chamber.
