Washington, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Jim Bognet to represent Pennsylvania’s Eighth Congressional District. The Chamber endorses pro-business candidates for federal office who will vigorously support public policy that will advance economic growth, support jobs, and promote fiscal responsibility.

“Jim Bognet is a small business owner, leader, and lifelong Pennsylvanian who truly understands the needs of his fellow constituents,” said Ashlee Rich Stephenson, Senior Political Strategist of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “Jim knows firsthand the challenges facing small businesses today and will be a pro-growth advocate to get things done in Washington on behalf of Pennsylvania’s 8th District. He has the full endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and we look forward to partnering with him in Congress.”

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Chamber of Commerce,” said Jim Bognet. “As the son of a small business owner, I saw firsthand the hard work and sacrifices it takes to start and run your own business. Our small businesses are the backbone of not only the 8th District but our great nation. Unfortunately, as we see inflation skyrocket, we are seeing these businesses suffer in the process. In Congress, I will fight for common sense solutions to put our economy back on track, tackle inflation, and bring prosperity to Northeast Pennsylvania and our country again.”

“The Pennsylvania Chamber congratulates Jim Bognet on earning the endorsement of the US Chamber,” said Luke Bernstein, President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry. “I know Jim well and he deeply understands the critical needs that must be addressed in our hometown across Northeast Pennsylvania. Job creators, workforce, and families are in need of leadership that will prioritize lowering the cost of living as the country is still struggling after the pandemic. Jim Bognet is a pro-growth candidate and I am pleased to see the business community standing behind him.”
